| An email is being sent to the public, including actual DNB First customers, instructing you to log into a copycat website. This site has been designed to look like it would be part of the official DNB First web site. Once there, they ask you to enter personal account information, including account and debit card numbers. DO NOT GO TO THIS SITE, even to look at it.
If you have already gone to the link in the email and entered personal account information, you must immediately come to a local DNB branch to close your account.
When you want to log into your DNB First online banking, do so only through the official First website: www.dnbfirst.com.
The phishing email is NOT the result of a data compromise: it is being sent to customers and non-customers alike randomly in order to trick people into revealing their personal information.
Below is one of the screens the phishing scan is using.

If you have any questions, please call Evelyn Hubiak at 484-691-DNB1 x 3098 or Sue Dunlap at 484-691-DNB1 x 3092.
Remember, never give any personal information through an email as it is not a secure source of communication.
